KENTWOOD, Mich. — A one-and-a-half-year-old boy was sent to DeVos Children’s Hospital unresponsive after being found in a pond by a man in Old Farm Park Apartments in Kentwood Thursday afternoon.
Two brothers, one seven and one nine-year-old, were watching the boy while at the playground near the apartments. According to Kentwood Police, they lost track of him for about 30 minutes.
A resident discovered his wagon and pacifier near a pond by Old Farm Park, then searched the water, where he discovered the body and performed CPR until emergency responders arrived.
