CASCO TOWNSHIP, Mich- Allegan County Sheriffs responded to a single car accident on 109th Avenue in Casco township, north of South Haven, Monday morning. When Deputies got there they found the driver lying on the ground near the vehicle. Rescue efforts were unsuccessful, and 33-year-old Nicole Goss died at the scene.
Witnesses at the scene told Deputies that the vehicle crossed the center line, before driving off of the road into a ditch and then striking a tree.
The driver was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident.
The crash still remains under investigation.
