PORTAGE, Mich — The Portage Public Schools Board of Education will hold a special meeting on June 3, to review recommendations from the superintendent search consultant.

It will happen at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room 1 of the administration building. This meeting is prior to the regular board meeting.

Previously, FOX 17 reported that the Board of Education hoped to have the new superintendent in place by July 1. Back on Dec. 14, 2012, the board of education voted to suspend former superintendent Richard Perry, after learning of his relationship with another district employee.
