ADA, Mich. — Amwaywill begin construction on an $81 million manufacturing plant that will bring new jobs to West Michigan.
On Wednesday at 10 a.m., the company will mark the official start of construction with a steel beam signing event that Amway Chairman Steve Van Andel will attend with Congressman Justin Amash and others at the Amway facility on Spaulding Avenue.
The new Ada plant will be 317,000 square feet and it will house manufacturing for Nutrilite brand products. Over three years, Amway plans to add 200 jobs to the facility.
This site is part of a seven-site, $375 million global expansion.
