GRAND RAPIDS, Mich- The Kent County Animal Shelter is working with the ASPCA to help save about 20 dogs that were taken from a suspected puppy mill last week. More than 150 dogs and pups were seized from the Missaukee County breeder, who was raising Jack Russell Terriers and Shiba Inus.
The dogs are scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, and some could be ready for new homes later this week, after spay or neuter procedure and recovery.
