Wienermobile Makes A Stop In West Michigan

Posted

WYOMING, Mich-  The Oscar Mayer Wienermoblie is in West Michigan. The vehicle is on a journey across the United States celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The first version was created in 1936 by Oscar Mayer’s nephew, Carl G. Mayer, and variants are still used by the Oscar Mayer company today. Drivers of the Wienermobiles are known as Hotdoggers and often hand out toy whistles shaped as replicas of the Wienermobile, known as Wienerwhistles.

Today the Wienermobile is at the Family Fare at 2275 Health Dr. SW in Wyoming until 5pm, when they have to continue their journey.
