HOLLAND, Mich. — More than 200 volunteers from several organizations will combine their efforts on Wednesday to build a playground in one day.
The project is part of Let’s Play, which is a community partnership led by Dr. Pepper Snapple Group to get kids and families active across the nation.
The new playground will be built at Trinity Reformed Church, and it will provide more than 250 children in Holland with a safe place to play. The current playground is more than 15 years old.
Volunteers will also include members of Holland Rescue Mission, Trinity Reformed Church, KaBOOM!, and the Holland community.
There will be a kick off ceremony along with volunteer deployment at 9:30 a.m. and the ribbon cutting to dedicate the playground will start at 3:30 p.m.
