MIDDLEVILLE, Mich. – The white substance that was found in a drive-thru pneumatic carrier is now identified as talcum powder.
According to the Barry County Sheriff’s Office, the bank was secured and the property was quarantined by fire personnel and law enforcement until a HazMat team arrived.
The substance is not dangerous and all staff members were sent home and are okay.
The incident is still under investigation.
