John Aguilar Found Guilty For Killing Robert Medema

johnaguilar_jpeg_475x310_q85KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The jury has come back with a guilty verdict in the case of John Aguilar. Aguilar was one of two men accused of conspiring to kill Robert Medema.

Aguilar was found guilty Friday for open murder, felony murder, armed robbery and first-degree home invasion.

Robert Medema was the owner of the downtown antique shop The Emporium. He was found dead in his home on Oakland Dr. in Kalamazoo in August, 2012.

On Feb. 26, a jury found Antonio Livingston guilty of first-degree murder, felony murder, first-degree home invasion and assault with intent to rob.

Aguilar will be sentenced at a later date.
