KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A pre-trial was held for Jonetta Woods, Tuesday afternoon.

She’s the mother of three children that died in a fire at Interfaith Homes on February 18th.

Woods is fighting to keep custody of her surviving daughter, Drayanna O’Day, who is now 5.

Woods, however, did not show up to court.

Her attorney, a case worker, a Kalamazoo County prosecutor, and an attorney representing Fred Glespie (Woods’ boyfriend), were present.

The five year old’s father, Deondray O’Day Lee, listened from prison in Saginaw via video conference.

The group discussed jury procedures and house keeping heading into trial.

Woods’ trial is scheduled for May 14th and 15th.
