KENTWOOD, Mich. — The repaving project on 28th Street expands this week to include overnight double lane closures between M-37/Broadmoor Avenue and Acquest Avenue.
The project has already affected the artery with single-lane traffic between Patterson Avenue and Kraft Avenue. The roadbed there is being completely replaced.
The Michigan Department of Transportation plans to repave 28th Street (M-11) between Patternson Avenue and Breton Road, with most of the work taking place at night. Progress on that part of the project begins this week with lane closures nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Acquest Avenue is east of East Paris Avenue.
