GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — People in West Michigan will have the chance to tour some of Grand Rapids’ neighborhoods today.
This will be the first Neighborhood Hop Tour, and it was launched by a group called Generation X&Y for MI, which works to promote and support Michigan neighborhoods.
The tour will go through the Heartside Neighborhood, the Eastown Neighborhood, and the East Hills Neighborhood.
The tour, sponsored by The Rapid, will start at The Pyramid Scheme at 5:30 p.m. and end at the Generation X&Y headquarters at 12 Oakes St. SW, where a two hour dance party will follow.
The event costs $5, and it is aimed at young professionals who are looking to invest in a place to live.
