(FOX 17) — While thunderstorms were in progress across parts of West Michigan Friday afternoon, something else was showing up on FOX 17 radar that had nothing to do with rain.
This image from 4:30pm shows what looks like rain extending from Battle Creek to near Delton. This is actually a plume of smoke from the fire at the Cereal City Recycling Plant. The smoke plume was visible from over 20 miles away.
