GRANDVILLE, Mich. – Investigators in Grandville say a house fire on Tuesday morning was caused by a lightning strike.
It happened shortly before 7:00 a.m. at a home on 42nd Street SW. Dispatchers say a woman had called 9-1-1, saying her house may have been hit by lightning.
Crews quickly arrived at the scene and determined the home had likely been struck.
There were no injuries reported.
