10:21 Death toll rises to 3.  Officials say more than 100 have been hurt.  Initial reports of a suspect being questioned at a Boston Hospital are false.

7:53 Google has created a website to search for someone or to share information about who ran the marathon.

6:40 FOX 17 confirms that one of the two people killed in the explosion was an 8-year-old.

5:30 p.m. Person of interest being guarded at the hospital.

4:50 p.m. A third explosion at the JFK Library, no injuries reported.

4:42 Fox News says two more explosive devices were found not detonated.

4:15 Newsbreaker is reporting – DEVELOPING: Pennsylvania Ave. in front of the White House has been shut down by secret service.

4:14 p.m. 560 runners from Michigan were registered to run in today’s race, according to the Boston Marathon’ website.

4:13 Fox News is reporting 2 people have been killed- 23 injured.

3:58 p.m. Boston Police activating all off-duty officers. All officers required to report for duty.

3:55 p.m. Officials: There will be a controlled explosion opposite the library within one minute as part of bomb squad activities.

3:53 p.m. Grand Rapids Police Department, FBI and Department of Homeland Security all say they have not been put on any kind of alert locally after the Boston Marathon bombings.

FOX 17 has heard that cellphone service has been blocked in the area.
