ROME (CNN) – Italian Supreme Court Judges have ruled that Amanda Knox should stand trial once again for the death of her former roommate.
Knox spent four years in prison before her 2007 murder conviction was overturned.
Prosecutors argued that they still believe Knox and her former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, are responsible for the death of Meredith Kercher. The judges also ordered Sollecito to face a new trial.
The reasoning behind the judges’ decision will be published within the next 60 days, and both parties have 45 days to present their cases.
