ROCKFORD, Mich.- Eight restaurants from the Rockford area have teamed up for the next six days for their first ever Restaurant Week. From March 18-23, chefs have prepared a $25 meal that can range from several courses to amazing main dishes. One-dollar from every special Restaurant Week meal will go to Feeding American West Michigan Food Bank.
“We participated with Restaurant Week for downtown Grand Rapids and they had moved the date toward the summer this year and it’s a little tough with our deck going to keep up with that, so we thought we wanted to do something up here in Rockford.” Chef Gregg Forgie with Reds on the River said.
