PLAINWELL, Mich. — A two-year project to upgrade M-89 in Plainwell enters the final year with a closure.
The westbound lanes of M-89 will be closed between 8th Street and Sherwood Avenue near the Kalamazoo River beginning Monday, March 11. The eastbound lanes will see a lane closure.
The detour for drivers on westbound M-89 would be to use 106th Avenue between 8th Street and 10th Street/Main Street north of Plainwell.
The notice from the Michigan Department of Transportation has the closure in place through July 1.
