GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The man accused of beating his estranged wife with a crow bar and a wrench was in court Monday.
During the preliminary hearing, Pamela Brabo gave a graphic testimony against Marshall Brabo.
“He said something like, ‘I don’t know how to tell you this, but we’re both going to die tonight,” Pamela said. “When I turned around he was pulling a crow bar out of the dresser drawer.”
With gashes and bruises on her face, Pamela continued to tell the court that her estranged husband beat her for hours and even choked her until she was forced to eventually play dad.
Pamela said Marshall then took some pills and passed out. That’s when she escaped and drove to a nearby McDonald’s for help.
Marshall Brabo was charged with assault with attempt to commit murder. The case will be heading to trial.
He is being held on a $1 million bond.
