KALAMAZOO, Mich. — On Monday February 18 , a fire destroyed Jonetta Woods Apartment at the Interfaith Apartments. Her three children were inside when the fire started and did not get out. Police say that the children were left inside the home alone. This afternoon a “Child Protection Hearing” was held and it was ordered that Woods’ 4-year old daughter be turned over to an aunt.
Wood is allowed to have visitation FOX 17 will have more on this story later this evening.
