MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich.- A person of interest has turned himself into his attorney for the early morning shooting death of Quinton Miller, 18, of Muskegon that happened on Feb. 16. Miller was found shot once in the back in the 2400 block of 6th Street in Muskegon Heights, police said.
Muskegon Heights police chief tells FOX 17 News that Myron Jackson, Jr., age 21, turned himself into his attorney. Jackson’s past convictions involve drugs and fleeing from police, according to the Department of Corrections website.
Miller was a free safety for Muskegon High School back in 2011, leading his team in interceptions. One friend said he stepped into the role of being his brother, when his real brother went off to college. Miller also became a father to a baby boy in January. The area where Miller was found is the same place where Kentae Jones, 18, was found dead.
