IONIA, Mich. — A missing woman who had walked away from her hospital has been found.
Linda Maroulis left Ionia Sparrow Hospital around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, and word was sent out to look for her.
Family and authorities noted that Maroulis had a medical condition and needed help.
The Westland Police Department in suburban Detroit contacted the Ionia County Sheriff’s Department on the woman’s whereabouts, and arrangements were being made to return her to Ionia.
There was nothing said about how Maroulis got to Westland.
