WYOMING, Mich. — The intersection of Chicago Drive/Grandville Avenue and Clyde Park Avenue was closed early Tuesday by a water main break.
Grand Rapids police officers cordoned off the intersection while water swirled around the break.
The problem was discovered around 4 a.m., and workers for the Wyoming Public Works Department said repairs would take most of the day.
Police officers were posted at the intersection, which can be considered closed until further notice.
One possible detour was to take Van Raalte Dr in either direction past Potter’s House School.
