BEAVER, PA– All charges have been dropped against the Grand Rapids Firefighter who was accused of rape back in October.
According to court documents obtained by FOX 17, the charges were dropped against Lee Finlayson, 50, in a Pennsylvania courtroom Monday morning.
Prosecutors initially filed the charges against Finlayson using statements from the alleged victim and incriminating text messages.
The charges were dropped after Finlayson’s attorney showed the court that his cell phone and social media accounts had been hacked.
Finlayson was Grand Rapids Firefighter of the year in 2011.
