GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The steady and occasionally heavy rains closed some roads that would affect the morning commute for some.
In Grand Rapids, police closed Fulton Street between Robinson Road and Cascade Road, a particularly low spot. It was an easy detour, however, to use Cascade Road between Fulton Street and the East Beltline.
Water receded on the road and it was reopened by 7 a.m.
104th Avenue was closed by the Ottawa County Road Commission due to water over the road just south of Adams Street in Holland.
