SHELBYVILLE, Mich. — A crash between a car and a semi resulted in injuries serious enough to call in an Aeromed helicopter from Grand Rapids.
The crash took place around 5:50 a.m. on 124th Avenue east of Shelbyville at 6th Street. The helicopter could not land on the road due to nearby power lines and was sent instead into a field southeast of the crash scene.
Images from the scene by FOX 17 photojournalist Josh Larson showed the car involved was wedged under the rig’s trailer.
