LANSING, Mich. – Nearly 50,000 Bridge Cards have been restored since Thursday.
A “human error” left an estimated 85,000 Bridge Card holders without funds.
On Friday, the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget announced that they’ve fixed the problem for more than half of those affected.
“We are continuing to do everything possible to ensure all of the cards are loaded with their benefits as soon as possible,” said DTMB spokesperson Kurt Weiss.
The error was found by clients whose identification numbers end in “0.”
The DTMB said the identification number is different than the number located on the front of the card.
The company is unable to give an exact time as to when the error will be corrected in full. However, they do expect a majority of the impacted cards will be completed by Friday.
