(WEST MICHIGAN) – We’re about halfway through the month of December, and it has hardly looked like it or even felt like it.
TEMPERATURES: The high so far has been 65 degrees, which happened on the 3rd and 4th. The low so far has been 22 degrees on the 11th. So far this month, Grand Rapids is running 112 total degrees above normal, or an average of 8.0 degrees per day. There has only been one day all month with below normal temperatures.
PRECIPITATION: The precipitation total in December has been just 0.89″, and this is 0.32″ below normal.
SNOWFALL: Included in the precipitation total is just 1.4″ of snow. This is 7.3″ below normal for the month so far. The seasonal total is 1.7″, and as of Friday, this amount is 14.3″ below normal.
