NORTON SHORES, Mich.– A man returned home to find two burglars inside.
The incident happened at about 4:52 p.m. on East Farr Road. The home owner caught one of the suspects and was able to hold him until police arrived. The other suspect fled, but was later caught up to on Grand Haven Road by a Norton Shores police officer.
The robbers stole a watch and medical marijuana. They tried to steal a safe but left it behind when the home owner showed up.
The suspects are both white males. One is 19-years-old. The other suspect is 20-years-old. They are from Grand Haven and West Olive.
Both suspects are being held at the Muskegon County Jail.
