GRAND RAPIDS, Mich – A new and improved Kent County Jail will be dedicated next week, according to a release.
There was initial concern the project would take longer than expected after the crane collapse that happened back in February.
The $27 million renovation stayed on schedule for the most part. Money for the project came from a mileage.
The dedication ceremony will be on December 10, 2012, at 2:00 p.m.
Public tours will be available from 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. that night.
