ZEELAND, Mich. — Early Sunday evening, Zeeland Pubic Schools announced via their offical school twitter page that starting on Monday, March 16, there will be four locations in town where they will be providing food to all children ages 18 and younger in our community.
At the following locations, parents can pick up meals for children. Kids do not need to be present to receive food, and with this service being open to the whole community, those picking up food do not need to have kids actively enrolled in ZPS to receive the food. Families with children with food allegries should contact email@example.com for full assistance.
Effective on Monday, Maple Valley Mobile Home Community, Logan Estates Mobile Home Community and Ottogan Mobile Home Community will be giving out food from 3 p.m.-3:45 p.m. The Bridge Youth Center located on East Main Street will be giving away meals from 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
Beginning on Wednesday, March 18, ZPS will operate a regular meal delivery schedule. This schedule has identified 21 locations with meals available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each day will provide 2+ days worth of food provisions. This plan will be finalized by Monday evening.
Those seeking to make donations or receive distributions of food, non-perishable household items, or clothing are encouraged to utilize His Harvest Stand in Zeeland.
