Tonight's Forecast: Mostly Clear and Cold!

The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Reece Cole: Clouds clear tonight and winds calm, allowing for a very cold tonight with lows in the low to mid 20s! Grand Rapids record low for April 17 is 24 degrees, with a good chance to tie or break that tonight. Expect some patchy frost Easter morning as well. Temperatures stay cooler through Easter Sunday and the middle of next week, with highs only in the 40s! Overall, it will be a quiet Sunday with a light north wind and mostly sunny skies. We're tracking our next system which arrives Monday morning. We expect some widespread snow for West Michigan before a transition to rain showers in the afternoon with perhaps some grassy accumulations. Warmer temperatures return for Wednesday with the chance of scattered rain showers. By the end of next week, we may be back into the 60s for highs. EASTER SUNDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy and cool. Highs in the upper 40s. Winds northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

MONDAY: Cloudy skies with snow showers mixing with and changing to rain showers through the day. Highs in the lower 40s.

TUESDAY: An early morning drop or flake, otherwise some late day clearing is possible. Highs in the lower 40s.

WEDNESDAY: Chance of rain showers in the morning, with showers likely by the evening.. Highs in the lower 50s.
