WEST MICHIGAN — WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Erik Kostrzewa: High pressure was our best friend today, bringing sunshine back in full force! As with everything in life, good things must come to an end. This will be the case with our sunshine as clouds increase tonight and most of Saturday will be cloudy. The clouds will be associated with our next snow maker approaching from the south. This low will swing through Indiana and Ohio, giving us some accumulating snow Saturday night into Sunday. A few inches of snow will be possible in Grand Rapids, with several inches possible for the I-94 areas. Check back for updated forecast details.

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds. Temps between 5° & 15° before the clouds. Rising to around 20° by morning. Wind out of east/southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy. Snow will develop late evening, becoming heavy at times overnight. Highs in the upper 20s.

SUNDAY: Cloudy with snow showers. Heaviest in the morning, slowly falling apart later in the day. A few inches of snow likely, heaviest south. Highs in the upper 20s.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy. Snow to stay south and east of West Michigan. Highs around 30.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy to partly sunny. Highs in the lower 30s.
