WEST MICHIGAN — GRAND RAPIDS — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Erik Kostrzewa: High pressure sliding in this evening will bring clearing skies to the region, with slightly cooler temperatures. Those temperatures, however, will heat up tomorrow and Saturday as that high gradually shifts eastward and we pick up a south to southwesterly flow. A cold front approaching on Saturday night & Sunday will bring a chance of showers and storms.

TONIGHT: Becoming mostly clear. Areas of fog possible. Lows in the low/middle 60s. Near calm wind.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny, hot, and humid. Highs in the upper 80s to near 90°. Winds southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW NIGHT: Mostly clear and a bit muggy. Lows in the middle to upper 60s. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy, hot and humid. Highs in the lower 90s. Heat indices in the upper 90s. South/southwest winds at 5 to 15 mph.

SUNDAY: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 2 P.M. Partly sunny. Still very warm and humid. Highs in the upper 80s.
