GRAND RAPIDS — WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Candace Monacelli: Low pressure will move across the upper Great Lakes Sunday, with most of the snow missing us to the north. However, today's system could still bring a few light rain and/or snow showers to the area. Winds will also pick up as that low strengthens. Expect some rain/snow mix chances throughout the week with mainly above average temperatures.

TODAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of light snow showers mixed with drizzle, especially in the afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 30s. South winds shift to the west and increase to 15-25 mph during the afternoon. Gusts up to 40 mph possible.

TONIGHT: A flurry or some patchy drizzle possible during the evening, otherwise mostly cloudy and breezy. Lows in the upper 20s to around 30. West to northwest winds at 10 to 20 mph.

MONDAY: Partly sunny and breezy. Highs in the upper 30s. West to southwest winds at 10 to 20 mph.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy and breezy. Scattered snow shower chances. Highs in the lower 30s.

WEDNESDAY: Slow decreasing cloud cover with a few morning snow chances. Highs near 30 degrees.
