GRAND RAPIDS — The forecast from FOX 17 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Craig: Look for some relief from the cold by Friday afternoon as temperatures return to near average for this time of year in the low/mid 30s. The warming trend will continue into the weekend with above average temperatures in the 40s for highs and sunshine!

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold. Lows from 5 to 10 above in most spots. West/southwest winds at 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW: Sunny, breezy, and not as cold. Highs in the lower 30s. West to southwest winds at 15 to 20 mph.

TOMORROW NIGHT: Clear and breezy. Lows in the middle 20s. Southwest winds at 10 to 20 mph.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny, breezy, and mild. Highs in the lower 40s. Southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy and mild. Highs in the mid to upper 40s.
