WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Erik Kostrzewa: A weak trough of low pressure swinging through the area from west to east tonight into Saturday will bring a few snow showers -- possibly mixed with rain at times -- to the area. The precipitation looks light and afternoon highs will be a few degrees above freezing. Therefore, travel impacts look pretty minor with this "event". Expect a ridge of high pressure to deliver unseasonably mild temperatures Sunday and Monday, but more winter-like conditions are expected by the middle of next week.

TONIGHT: Scattered flurries possible. Mostly cloudy with lows around 30. South to southwest winds around 5 mph.
TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy. A chance of light rain and snow showers. Minor accumulations possible on grassy surfaces. Highs in the middle 30s. Southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph becoming westerly in the afternoon.
TOMORROW NIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 30s. Southwest winds at 5 to 15 mph.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny and mild. Windy with highs in the mid 40s. West to southwest winds at 15 to 25 mph, gusting to 35 mph.
