GRAND RAPIDS — WEST MICHIGAN – West Michigan will once again see any morning cloud cover dissipate and work towards mostly sunny skies for the rest of the day. Temperatures remain above average and mild working into the mid and upper 40s. This time of year, we should have afternoon highs in the lower 30s so these temperatures are well above average.

Cloud cover will continue to build in more and more come Monday afternoon and evening leaving us with mostly cloudy conditions then for the rest of the week. On Christmas day and the days following we have the chance to see some rain drizzle. Moisture is limited so it’s not a wash out whatsoever, but the possibility to see some rain is there.

The mild air continues through Christmas before temperatures slowly fall back into the 30s heading into next weekend. We are getting a close watch on a system that could potentially impact us next week on your return home travel from the holidays. Check back with us for updates throughout the week on our brand-new Fox 17 mobile weather app.
