Know the Law – Insurer Flexibility and COVID-19

Earlier this week, the Director of the Department of Insurance and Financial Services issued a bulletin recommending that insurers offer flexibility to those experiencing financial difficulty due to COVID-19.

Under the Governor’s Stay-At-Home order, insurance providers are considered “critical infrastructure workers” and remain operational, as explained in last week’s Know the Law segment.
