GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — As the state enters the next phase of reopening, Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park will reopen at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 8.
Parts of the main building and outside areas will remain closed as part of the attraction’s safety procedures. But a map of the closed areas shows only a very small part of the outside areas will be closed.
“During this most difficult time, it has been a privilege for me to be in a position to see how so many kind, passionate and dedicated people from all walks of life have come together to unite and sustain Meijer Gardens,” said president & CEO David Hooker in a release.
People who had memberships in effect when Meijer Gardens closed on March 13 will have through June 30 to extend their memberships at no charge.
