ZEELAND, Mich — Amy Eisen and her family were overjoyed today as their father, Bob, returned home in Zeeland following a double lung transplant.
Bob had been in the hospital for eight months, and no one had been able to visit him lately due to restrictions on hospital visits because of the coronavirus.
Bob was met with a parade when he got home, all organized by his family, friends and former coworkers at Hayworth and Harley Davidson.
"For him to finally be coming home, it's really exciting," Amy Eisen said. "It's just been such a long road.”
