The 3.2 magnitude earthquake is 3 kilometers south southeast of Detroit Beach. The earthquake was shallow, which led to widespread reports from people who felt it.

We have reports of it being felt in Lorain, Ohio, Sterling Heights, and Ann Arbor.

Detroit Beach is in Monroe County, about 25 miles north of Toledo.

The last time an earthquake shook southeastern Michigan was April 2018.

You can report what you felt to the USGS here.
