BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Delivery service Shipt announced that they are seeking 100,000 more shoppers for this year’s holiday season.
They plan to recruit new shoppers around the country, including 2,700 in Grand Rapids.
"We're embarking on a holiday season like none before,” says company CEO Kelly Caruso, “and taking proactive steps to ensure we can help American families get everything on their holiday list -- groceries, essentials, gifts, home decor and apparel -- in a safe, affordable, convenient way.”
Shipt says they will continue to keep their shoppers safe by providing PPE equipment such as gloves, masks and hand sanitizer. They add that financial support will be offered to those who may be unable to work as a result of a COVID-19 diagnosis within their household.
