LANSING, Mich. — Hillary Clinton has weighed in on the armed anti-lockdown protests in Lansing, saying they should not be tolerated.

In a tweet on Friday, the former Secretary of State said that storming the capitol and disrupting the legislature is a feat of "domestic terrorism."

Despite disapproval from both Democrat and Republican lawmakers, the actions of the armed protesters appear to be legal, as there is no record of them brandishing their firearms in a threatening manner, as defined by the Michigan Penal Code.

The Michigan Capitol Commission has delayed any formal ruling on the matter as they continue to study further.

This comes as Governor Gretchen Whitmer faces a lawsuit over abuse of power, specifically about how she issued executive orders under the Emergency Powers of the Government Act of 1945 and the Emergency Management Act of 1976.
