Disney World, Disneyland increase prices for annual passes

ORLANDO, Fla. – It just got more expensive for some to visit “The Most Magical Place on Earth” and “The Happiest Place on Earth.”

Tuesday, Disney World and Disneyland raised their prices for annual passes, which offer year-round access to the parks on select days.

Disney World

The new prices for Disney World annual prices are:
· Platinum Plus: $1,295 (previously $1,219)
· Platinum: $1,195 (previously $1,119)
· Gold (Florida residents and DVC members only): $719 (previously $699)

For Florida residents only:
· Silver: $539 (previously $519)
· Weekday Select Pass: $369 (previously $349)
· EPCOT After 4 pass: $319 (previously $304)

These price increases come just a few months after the last time the Florida park raised its prices in June.

Disneyland

The Orange County Register reports the new prices for Disneyland’s annual passports are:
· Select: $419 (previously $399)
· Deluxe: $829 (up 4 percent)
· Signature: $1,199 (up 4 percent)
· Premiere: $2,199 (up 13 percent)

The Register also says Disneyland raised prices for some single-day and multi-day tickets:
· Single-day Tier 5 parkhopper: $209 (up 5 percent)
· Single-day Tier 1 parkhopper: $159 (up from $154)
· Two-day, one-park: $235 (up from $225)
· Two-day parkhopper: $290 (up from $280)
· Three-day, one-park: $310
· Three-day parkhopper: $365
