GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — This fall, when you explore the John Ball Zoo there will be an added exhibit, one that is quite literally full of light: "A Glenlore Tale."

A Glenlore Tale is a one-mile outdoor nighttime journey filled with interactive light displays and sounds.

Glenlore Tale lights are created by Bluewater Technologies of Wixom, Michigan. This collaboration between Bluewater and the John Ball Zoo is being called the IllumiZoo.

When wandering through the light displays, guests will see the connections between wildlife and wild places.

The goal of this bright exhibit is to show how we are all connected to each other, to the land, the water, the air, the trees, and all animals.

Bluewater Technologies says this is a family-friendly experience and is not "haunted."

A Glenlore Tale will be at John Ball Zoo from October 10 through November 15, 2020.
