KENTWOOD, Mich. — Police warned neighbors to avoid the area of Eastern Avenue and Hardwick Drive Thursday morning for an unspecified incident.
The Kentwood Police Department posted on social media that the area around the intersection, including all lanes of Eastern Avenue, were shut down around 7:45 a.m. on May 7.
Details of what prompted the closure were not immediately available.
Police encouraged drivers to find an alternate route, which includes 52nd and 60th Streets along with Division or Kalamazoo Avenue.
