BYRON CENTER, Mich. — Three Acre Farm in Byron Center is asking you to not only stop and smell the flowers, but pick them as well.
The family owned farm is now open for U-Pick season and has over 100 varieties of flowers.
The farm is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
They are also open on Saturdays from 9a.m. - Noon.
Guests should bring their own containers to transport their flowers home in; however, when they're out picking, a vase or a bucket will be provided by farm owner Lori Hernandez.
Hernandez says this farm is her dream, literally!
The idea for this U-Pick came to her in a dream, her husband helped make it a reality.
"In 2009, when my children were young, the Lord gave me a vision of my children and I standing in a garden surrounded by all these people. I didn’t know any of these people, but they all felt like friends, and we were laughing and just having a great time together," recounts Hernandez.
Today the Hernandez family cherishes the opportunity to great their guests and treat them like family.
