AETNA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 31-year-old Big Rapids resident was taken to Spectrum Butterworth Big Rapids Hospital after crashing into a patch of trees.
Deputies arrived at Northland Dr. just south of 4 Mile Rd. around 4:13 a.m. Sunday morning to find the crashed vehicle.
The driver had lost control of her vehicle and driven off the road before rolling into the embankment where deputies found her.
Both speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, according to the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office, and the woman is expected to be ok.
