ROCHESTER, Mich. — Oakland University is the first Michigan university to release their plans for the fall semester.

They will be requiring face masks, utilizing a coronavirus testing program, and turning ballrooms into classrooms built with social distancing in mind.

According to an interview with Bridge, Oakland President Ora Hirsch Pescovitz offered more details from the plan, including lab classes with a small number of students, frequent testing of students and faculty, no spectators at any sports games, and many classes being held online.

Pescovitz went on to say that the plan is a work in progress, and could change based on future executive orders.
